Official start-up of CGM production

On May 28 of the current year there was an official start-up of CGM production with the participation of Kamaliyev B.S., Vice-Minister of industry and new technologies, and representatives of Akimat of Karaganda region in Karaganda city according to the List of projects put into operation in 2010 in Karaganda region.
This object is the first complex for production of control gas mixtures which are new science intensive products for metrological purposes. It is necessary to note that the strategic goal – to establish production of control gas mixtures in the Republic of Kazakhstan is achieved. It will allow domestic enterprises and organizations using devices of gas analysis in their activity refusing from the import of standard samples of the composition – control gas mixtures.
Standard samples of gas mixtures composition (control gas mixtures) are intended for:
- graduation, calibration, inspection and testing of measurement means for components content in gas environment;
- certification of procedures of measurements;
- precision control of measurements, performed according to standard or certified methods.
The peculiarity of technological process of control gas mixtures production as well as the requirements for allocation of production equipment stipulated the necessity to allocate the standard in a stand-alone building satisfying the necessary requirements (availability of production area, isolation from residential area, architectural peculiarities). The building, belonging to “AziaHaier” LLP, meets all the abovementioned requirements.
